Who We Are
Landsick Media LLC is an Alaskan video production and post-production company founded by creative partners Quinton Oliver and Jaybird Oliver. With over 20 years of combined experience, Landsick Media specializes in crafting cinematic content that tells meaningful stories—whether for broadcast, branded campaigns, documentaries, or nonprofit storytelling.
Rooted in Alaska and inspired by its rugged beauty, our work blends high-level production value with an authentic, human touch. We’ve collaborated with major networks and organizations including National Geographic, PBS, ABC, Discovery Channel, and NOAA, capturing stunning footage in some of the most remote and challenging environments.

Quinton Oliver Smith
Quinton Oliver Smith is an Alaskan-based filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and community engagement. As the leader of Alaska Filmmakers, he organizes biannual film competitions and charitable events that celebrate local talent while giving back to the community. Quinton has been creating videos since he could hold a camera, cultivating his craft through interests in analog photography, music, animation, and indie filmmaking. In the summer of 2018, he launched Landsick Media LLC, combining his years of expertise with a vision for world-class media production in Alaska. A graduate of Eagle River High School, Quinton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Cinema from the University of Mississippi.
Jaybird Oliver
Jaybird Oliver is a lifelong Alaskan multimedia artist with a dedication to organization and creativity. Her diverse interests span music, analog photography, stop-motion animation, and tufting. Before joining the Landsick Media LLC team in 2021, Jaybird pursued a successful career as a touring musician. Her love for video production grew from her experience creating music videos for her band, Termination Dust, and her enthusiasm for creating short films. With over a decade of managerial experience, Jaybird brings a unique blend of artistry and organizational expertise to every project. Always seeking new ways to express herself, she is driven by a constant desire to explore and master new art forms.
